About Jackson Smith

Jackson is from Rutherfordton, NC. He found a love for Southern Gospel Music when he was about three years old, when his Grandmother Janice Smith introduced him to "The Happy Jubilee" which had recently been recorded by Greater Vision, Legacy Five, and The Booth Brothers, on an album called "Jubilee".  He started touring locally as a soloist at age thirteen after he had been given an opportunity to sing during a 5th Sunday Night Singing at his grandparent's church. His performance that evening was posted on social media and received thousands of views within a week on Facebook alone.

Ever since, he has been travelling proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ through song. Jackson has been privileged to record albums with Daywind Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. 

After three years as a soloist, Jackson transitioned to travelling with the Pine Ridge Boys, a Southern Gospel Quartet from Inman, SC, where he has remained for two years. 

He is a member of Love Springs Baptist Church in Cowpens, SC, where he attends when he is not out travelling.
